The passion for fashion came to her at an early age. She was only 5 years old when she started playing dress-up doll games.
She credits her mother for her feminine dressing style.
Sonya spent the first 5 years of her life in Saint Petersburg before her parents decided to move to the city of Kaliningrad. After that, her family relocated to Toronto, Canada.
On July 9, 2009, Sonya started her YouTube channel. However, she uploaded her first video to her channel on December 25, 2012, which was titled Questions About Online / Home Schooling Answered!
